Every year, Greymount Paper & Press pledges a minimum of 1% of our gross annual revenue to charitable organizations we believe are making the world a better place.
1% is only our starting point — last year, we FAR exceeded our yearly goal — and as we grow as a company, our goal is to have that percentage grow as well. To us, having more equals having more to give. We donate in honor of the people past & present who have donated to/marched for/brought attention to the causes that gave modern society the rights & freedoms we enjoy today.
While we know the organizations we choose to support may be a "dealbreaker" for some, we believe transparency is crucial so that you, the customer, can make an educated choice as you speak with your heart and your wallet.
About Dolly Parton's Imagination Library (from their website):
“I created the Imagination Library as a tribute to my Daddy. He was the smartest man I have ever known but I know in my heart his inability to read probably kept him from fulfilling all of his dreams. Inspiring kids to love to read became my mission. In the beginning, my hope was simply to inspire the children in my home county but here we are today with a worldwide program that gives a book a month to well over 1 million children.”

"Finding cures. Saving children.®" When our children are sick, we will move heaven and earth to find them help and care. St. Jude's provides child care for families, and families never receive a bill for treatment, travel, lodging, or food.

This is the major food bank serving our region of New York State. The magic of food banks is their skill and ability to budget and negotiate food prices, turning what would be $1 worth of food for you and me into $8-10 of food.

About ACLU (from their website, emphasis added by GP&P):
The ACLU has evolved in the years since from this small group of idealists into the nation’s premier defender of the rights enshrined in the U.S. Constitution. With more than 1.5 million members, nearly 300 staff attorneys, thousands of volunteer attorneys, and offices throughout the nation, the ACLU of today continues to fight government abuse and to vigorously defend individual freedoms including speech and religion, a woman’s right to choose, the right to due process, citizens’ rights to privacy and much more. The ACLU stands up for these rights even when the cause is unpopular, and sometimes when nobody else will. While not always in agreement with us on every issue, Americans have come to count on the ACLU for its unyielding dedication to principle.
